Countdown 6. 5. 4. ...

The Show is almost here! exciting, frightening. There are so amny things that I wanted to do that will not get done... But I am ok with that. The artwork will be there, there may not be a website developed yet, or a handmade book to sign in. But the basics are there and that is the important part anyway.

If you happen to be in Halifax, Nova Scotia on November 24th please come by the opening 5:30 until 7ish at the Anna Leon Owens Gallery, 1891 Grandville street. This gallery is part of NSCAD University and there will be three other show on as well. The exhibition closes 4 pm November 29th.

I hope to see some of you there!

Gradshow fever

Well, what a whirlwind of activity. My Grad-show opens in nine days, I've had the last of the clay made into objects, I've got a plan for setup, I think I even know what I am wearing to the opening...

But I cannot help panicking every 15 minutes or so.

This is going to be a long week.

Ceramic History

While reserching for a term paper today I came across an interesting link for ceramics history on the web. I realize how much I've learned from a few recent classes when photos pop up and I am able to identify them without reading the text.

Now I just need to learn contemporary ceramics and I'm set.
